Susan Stevenson
Public Health Nurse and an MFC a group fitness instructor
I have always loved working out and being active, so 10 years ago when I got a normal day job nursing, I found like-minded people to join me in working out to FIRM videos. I then started toying with the idea of being a fitness instructor. Jan Keryluk was teaching Zumba and she encouraged me to become certified. So I became certified in group Resistance and started teaching free weights classes to the community. I now have sub-certs in R.E.D. Warrior LLC, Kettlebell AMPD LLC, Drums Alive LLC, and working on Bellyfit and Nutrition courses. I don’t consider teaching fitness a job but my “Happy Hour” with friends.
